The proposed research infrastructure will bring together scientists, executives, young researchers, postdoctoral researchers, PhD candidates and human capital working in different specialties to achieve the best results, and will introduce a new perspective to the field (researchers, consultants, agricultural enterprises, farmers, suppliers, logistics companies, policy makers and consumers). This will be achieved through the use of Active Laboratories / Live Labs in the development of research questions and hypotheses, in the testing of the validity and reliability of various research tools and in the transformation of research results into consistent, substantial new knowledge for all stakeholders, researchers and stakeholders.

The main objective of Active Laboratories is to create an environment for the promotion of the field of research, which will focus on the user in smart and innovative agriculture in the context of smart specialization and entrepreneurship. In other words, the interaction of stakeholders working to create new knowledge and innovations in agriculture to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of the sector will be actively and purposefully supported.
